If you make $20/hr you barely get by. A 1 bedroom apt in southern California is over $2,000 a month. There are utilities and then the cost of a car and gas and maintenance.

I do wish we could actually talk. I am not great with text communication. I understand your points/comment. In my simple mind, and it is very simple, we cannot take out more than we contribute. Contributions come in real current value, future productivity, future growth …. I don’t know the answer but the middle class lifestyle granted forever after 30 years of productive work doesn’t add up. Eating the seed corn will not work. We must leave more than we take. I am not sure how to measure that.
I do agree with the principles you are speaking of but we are also dealing with evil predatory Satanic people who have the power to steal us blind but yet say it is our fault that “they have to spend so much on us”! That none of us is ever really been taxed enough to justify our existence as living Humans on Earth.

No, you don't get it. The politicians in power have been in power because the previous generations elected them. GenZ hasn't been voting long enough to hardly be held responsible for our current situation. You would castigate her for voting for Biden or Newsom without considering how they even came to be options on the ballot. YOUR generation put them there in the first place.

Well, yes. If you care to, please go back and take another look at my post. I am not talking about Gen Z in general. That group contains some amazing, hard-working people.
I’m talking about that Gen Z girl in particular. I watched her video. She doesn’t get it. She doesn’t understand the root causes of her problems. Many Gen Z folks do understand. She doesn’t.
