In personality tests, conservatives generally score higher on disgust scales than do liberals.

I think anyone who does a “dirty” job, one that would make most people say ugh, as in healthcare, plumbing, animal husbandry, mortuary services, waste management, law enforcement, grows a strong stomach, at least in that field.

I doubt it makes them less conservative.

Most hospitals(’’medical centers’’) tend to lean Left. DEI bs all over the place. At least till Covid came.
You really do get used to it all after a while.

In my hospitals ER the other some ahole the cops bought in almost picked the whole damn stretcher up.
