In the last few years while covid insanity raged I picked up 4 landscape paintings representing the 4 seasons from an online auction website. They ranged in price from $15 to $200. 2 of them had an ornate frame and the other 2 plain ones. All are oil paintings and signed but probably only the $200 one was from someone well known. It apparently hung for years in a corporate office. They now hang in my entrance hallway and I love em. Because this art was cheap I don’t worry about fraud.
Four seasons of paintings is a very cool idea. My mom gifted me one of those “paintings” that changes as you walk past it. It cycles a rustic scene through all four seasons.
