The Jews were a secondary concern, brought about because the Nazis considered most of the USSR Bolsheviks to be Jews, and perceived most German Jews of the time to be Marxist.
For some reason, when Hitler and so many other Germans, including Hitler, were fighting on the Eastern Front in WWI, many Jews stayed out and consolidated media and political power at home. Of course there was the perceived "Stab in the back," apparently snatching defeat (at the hands of U.S. tanks, the new weapon that obsoleted trench warfare) from what seemed to be imminent victory after Lenin overthrew the Czarist regime and immediately ended Russian involvement in WWI. Then the Treaty of Versailles.
Jews were also blamed for the Weimar hyper-inflation.
Germany was a cauldron of extreme pressures at the time, but it all stemmed from the International Bolshevist Revolution.
