I remember E. Jean Carroll having a talk show of sorts in the mid-90s on (I think) the Lifetime channel. I think it was called “Ask E. Jean” like her advice column of which I was unaware until this lawsuit emerged.
I stumbled upon this short-lived program once while channel surfing. She was a complete nut! Frenetic, restless, walking around the set while pontificating on sex and relationships. I thought the show was parody.
Her signature move was to stand behind a sofa and throw her leg over the back of it planting her foot on the cushion. I assume this was meant to serve as punctuation to whatever ridiculous point she was making.
She was a champion of all the 70s feminist twaddle that was on its way out and obviously why she was given a show.
