Most new films are intolerable. The whispering, the woke messaging etc.Most of them suck except for Tom Cruise. He's the real deal. Old school. He knows what works. And he's not changing the formula.

Of course not. Maverick was a redux as was all 42 Mission Impossible films. He ruined MI for me.
180 degrees from the TV show. Too many car chases and wonton destruction of private property.
