Just disgusted by conspiracy nonsense.
I see many of these comments on different posts and ignore them.
I feel they are toxic and signs of mental instability .
But I normally ignore them .
There have been more posters spouting this stuff and it takes away some validity from this forum in my opinion .
But when a story is local, I won’t stay silent .
To ignore that that there are deranged kids doing this crap is utterly foolish.
We need to go after the root causes of why this happens and not fall for toxic conspiracy theories.
It makes all conservatives look like nut jobs.
May I suggest you avoid the emotional bullying then. Arguing your point by emphasizing how someone may have been flown over your house who could have recently been one of the victims is not a rational posit, it is a fallacy, an Appeal to Emotion.
The story about Jeffrey Epstein and his child sex slaves was once labeled a conspiracy theory. Now that some of the names are being released, there’s a much bigger story to knock it off the front page. Another shooting. Three injured. Shooter dead. That’s so much more important than high profile politicians and celebrities raping children. How dare anyone suggest there is a conspiracy to keep the news of those rapes and the identity of the rapists off the front page. There’s nothing suspicious about a local shooting overshadowing an international pedophile ring. /s
