From the video to me, the taser was to far away to hit her. I did see her lunge towards the boyfriend with the knife then she is shot.
I did notice police knock and try and kick door in but never said Police at all.
At the end of the article the boyfriend was arrested for child abuse, the released
In general, police have always been willing and eager to enforce unconstitutional laws or orders.
Social media networks has broken the iron grip on narrative control that has been shielding them.
Police deserve no special dispensation until they redeem their profession.
I base this below on the video.
In this case it appears the LEO fired quickly to save the male. LEO observed a female with one hand on a male, and the other hand holding a large knife. Even if the female called and said she was being abused, LEO only sees female with large knife, while holding a male. And LEO probably has no idea who was who at the time shots were fired.
Bottom line, LEO is going to protect someone from being stabbed, shot etc. LEO had no idea if she was going to put that knife into the male’s chest and LEO can’t allow that to happen.
This is an unfortunate incident. Clearly the female did not know enough to immediately drop the knife when they gained entry and she saw them.
In this incident I believe LEO fired on the female not protect himself, but to protect the male from the knife wielding female.
Here’s the bodycam video (without the annoying ads and popups):

“Whats the difference?”
I shouldn’t even have to explain this. It is simple... There are two different legal standards. One for civilian cattle, and one for the LE cattle herders. The herders have an unquestioned get out of jail free card the cattle not.
