For central Germany, which typically has about 30 days of 30-to-36 C temperatures for each summer...86-to-97 F, my village had four days which it crept up to 32 C (90 F). Meaning? Well...that mini-AC unit I have, was only turned on four days.

Gulf stream issue? No doubt, and the weather guy avoided suggesting that as much as possible.

It was awful dry (almost 12 continuous weeks of zero rain) and it was the most moderate spring/summer/fall that I’ve seen in 30 years.

And the final month of summer? Cool blast of air...low temperatures, and almost no one using outdoor pools because of showers and 65 degree temperatures.
