A high school in Kansas is embroiled in controversy after a "Satan Club" was approved despite a petition being brought against it.
Olathe Northwest High School, a school in a suburb of Kansas City, has been given the green light to establish a Satan worship/Satan Templist Club, according to Fox 4 Kansas City.
An Olathe Public Schools spokesperson stated, "the club application met the criteria to establish a student-initiated club and is now recognized as a student-initiated club at Olathe Northwest High School."

I’m from Kansas and knew this would be Olathe before I pulled up the thread.
The youngsters think they are playing a harmless game.
Satan, on the other hand, is definitely playing for keeps.
Warning. These satan clubs are bait to cause Christians to fight a battle they can’t win and bankrupt them and distract them from the gospel message.
Exactly.
All of a sudden “after school Satan Club” is a thing all over the country. I wonder who is behind it. Other than Satan I mean. Which of his earthly minions?
Is there a bible study club at the school?
There shouldn’t be that stuff either. That belongs at church. It opens the school to all sorts of silly stuff. Schools should be for RRR. And one of those Rs is not religion.
Who is behind it? High school kids like to be rebellious. They see other places do this and they see the reaction it gets.
Seems like typical high school student stuff.
Do you know if Bible Study classes are allowed or if they celebrate Christmas and Easter at school instead of ‘winter holiday’ and ‘spring break’?
Actually I figured it would be Shawnee Mission East.
Satan’s earthly minions appear in every venue. Martin Luther said “Where God builds a church, Satan builds a chapel.”
Had to be Olatha or Lawrence.
Fifty years ago there were a very few kids like this at the rural Kansas high school I attended.. Their parents were big time local democrats. The ones that didn’t kill themselves with destructive behavior went on to their own place in the democrat party.
Living in the Southeast all my life I don’t know much about Kansas, other than the one time I drove through it on the way to CColorado I realized there is actually a state with flatter topography than Florida.
I take it Olatha is off the wall?
Require those “believers” to kiss the fecal covered anus of their Satan. It was a requirement in the olden days.
The Father of Lies Army continues to grow in the US.
Thsts fine....I know how the story ends. ☝️
When will they sacrifice the principal? Can they wear freaky clothes and is carrying a pitchfork considered a weapon if it is an expression of their culture?
From one of the disciples of wokeism ("Council of Transexuality?") comes this manifesto:
intersections with race, ethnicity, coloniality...has long served as a taxonomizing apparatus. And yet, the literary, in league with anticolonial...movements...animates the liberatory potential of imagining embodied relations otherwise... representations of gender and sexuality can leverage critiques against normativity...Taking our transnational cue from subjugated knowledges and intersectional epistemologies, we’ll constellate the diverging genealogies and methodologies...Against the traffic of binary opposition, we’ll index the possibilities of intimacy and performativity...our aim will be to read and reread as well as write and rewrite texts that interrogate and complicate how gender and sexuality...are embodied and experienced." Its a suburb of Kansas City. Both sides of the river that town is Whack! Liberal Lawrence is the big liberal college town.
I live about 150 miles west in the very flattest part of the state. It feels like I am a universe away from the rest of the world out here until a story like this crops up.
