Yes, I believe that it is available on YouTube. The other SCTV skits from the CCCP1 episode are worth checking out as well. Try SCTV Uzbekistan or something like that. Remember, it was created in late 1981.

My guess is Turkmenistan. It appears he’s going in inverse alphabetical order in the Cyrillic alphabet (k comes after z in Cyrillic).

Russian bloggers were talking about that possibility last week. A “victory” for Russia and a reason to vote for Putin in the up coming Russian Presidential election.

“The USSR would have cracked down on crime.”

I don’t think so. Read Solzhenitsyn and the rest. Stalin’s Soviet Union had a huge crime problem and criminal underground.

“We have a huge interest in Russia and their ability and willingness to destroy us for their constant search for world power.”
Horse$hit.

Agreed. They didn’t dare try it when they were the Soviet Union and much stronger. They’re not going to try now.

Are you really young and with no knowledge of history?

I don’t think Russia can afford another war in the Stans. Afghanistan tought them a lesson I am sure they have not forgotten.

“Are you really young and with no knowledge of history?”

Rather presumptuous, aren’t you? I grew up in the ‘50s and we had the duck and cover drills, and our elementary school gym was a CD shelter with the stored rations and water in our locker room. So don’t try to lecture me about threats from Russia. Maybe you’re just another foreigner warmongering for us to fight them to save Ukraine’s fundament.

These estimates could be a load of bs, or not. Whichever side an outlet chooses to side with will glorify said side and demonize the enemy. Take your pick at the propaganda. Heck I don’t think we even know what we’ve sent the Ukrainians, probably never will.

We’ve been in a cool ww3 for a bit now. Where the spark is going to happen is anyone’s guess.

It was a question.

A valid one with your ignoring 100 years of history and major American wars.

I’m not ignoring it. The only one that was really worth fighting for us was WWII. Ever since the war with Spain, the rest were fruitless wastes.

Yeah, this is, just one guy says...and Russian state media is full of those that spout off

Everywhere is, actually, and everything must be taken with a handful of salt, these days.

"There you go again imagining that someone is ignoring domestic politics and issues because there are also foreign issues."

LOL!! You must be blind. The last thing I knew, our southern border was wide open, has been wide open for the past three years, allowing thousands of unknowns pass into our country, unvetted with God only knows what diseases they are bringing with them. And they are committing crimes, and murdering innocent Americans. It ain't just Mexicans coming across the border you know.

And don't let me get started on the corrupt criminal justice system in this country, where people who commit violent felonies, are back out on the street in two hours so they can reoffend, and have arrest records a mile long with no substantial punishment being doled out for any of those crimes. Not to mention the number of prisons in New York State alone that were closed last year, yet New York City and cities like Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse all have high violent crime rates, but don't put anybody away for them. Then add to that all the Democrat-controlled States around the country, whose big cities have high crime rates as well. And whenever there's a mass shooting, in a large number of the incidents, that person was known to Federal, State, or Local officials. And please include the mentally ill who are roaming about committing crimes, pushing people onto subway tracks, stabbing them, or beating them to death, etc. But our domestic tranquilty is perfect, because "someone's watching."

Our election system has been compromised, and elections have been stolen on the National level, and nobody, not even Congressional Republicans want the truth to come out that an elected President was denied his rightful place because of a well-planned coup to put a compromised old diddler in The White House in order to continue the destruction of this country, and all it has stood for these past 243 years. Trump got in their way, so they got rid of him. And if they can't get rid of him through lawfare, they'll simply kill him like they did J.F.K. Count on it. But "somebody's watching" right?

American Patriots have, and still are being hunted down, being arrested and incarcerated over the past three years, their freedom of speech, freedom from search and seizure, along with 2nd Amendment rights being violated, our own guaranteed rights are being infringed upon every day. This country is looking more like the U.S.S.R. or Hitler's Germany every day. Dissenters who oppose the left are rounded up and eliminated. They are doxxed, beaten up, run over, sued to oblivion, losing their jobs, losing their lives, and you think this country's domestic security is hunky-dory because "someone's watching"? The only ones watching what's going on in this country, are the ones who want it destroyed: Terrorists, Globalists, Chi-coms, Iran, Mexico, etc. Russia is the least of our problems at this point. This country has already surrendered to other entities, and certainly not Russia at this point in time.

The economy has been tanking for the past three years, people can't afford to put gas in their cars or put food on the table, and all you can think of is Russia, Russia, Russia? How the frig do you expect to fight off foreign entities if you don't have the resources, like enough oil, steel, trained labor etc. in order to do it? Or the will to do it? You also have to rely on the best to get it done, and you can do it if you have to worry about hiring a certain amount of people with the right skin color.

How long do you think it would take for this country to be able to produce the amount of military machinery it would need to fight Russia and China together? It would take far longer than it did in WWII, to get everyone on board, pulling together in order to work together to get things done. And there's no guarantee it could be done in this country, the way it is today.

You're going to need a huge military. Nobody in their right mind wants to enlist in today's Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine, etc. They can't even meet recruitment levels because the military has gone "woke." All you'll get is the same rejects they are getting now, with the same watered-down requirements, just to maintain a semblance of a standing army . No sane person wants to fight for a country that's already lost. They aren't going to fight for the communist/facist/globalist cabal that is already here, and taking over our government.

You're either the biggest, gullible fool in the world, or you're very wealthy and have no other cares in the world except for your own well-being. You're not George Soros are you, or his retarded son? So being a war hawk, are you voting for Nikki Haley, because you certainly can't be voting for Donald Trump.

Don’t want to be contrary, but have to call out something that is false or at least is presented as more than it is by the source

Guam is 31 miles by 9 at its widest, 210 sq miles

Something is off with “54 installations “
There is Anderson, navy force Maria NAS, and navy base Guam

Very curious how they come up with 54

Been deployed there over a dozen times

"Agreed. They didn’t dare try it when they were the Soviet Union and much stronger. They’re not going to try now."

Excellent point, and one I wish I'd thought of.

ansel12 sounds very naive to me. I've exchanged comments with them on this same topic on other threads. He/she seems to think that our domestic tranquility is being watched by some eagle eye, who is on top of any issues that pop up, that we're in good hands, so we need to turn our sights on Ukraine.

See my lengthy, but I believe comprehensive response to him/her at #97.
