I dont have an image host but snuffing the nose of my navy ship, the St Louis LKA-116 happened often and the foxail was 80’ of the water!!

By "snuffing the nose" you mean that the bow of the ship dove into the waves?

And what is the foxtail? The main bridge area or the helicopter pad at the end?
