Imagine you have to stay all day outside in below-zero temperatures. Now, what if it’s not a day but a week? And not in a town, but out in the woods or an open field? The war in Ukraine continues, and the frost that comes to the trenches cannot be ignored. How not to freeze when a war takes place in winter, and how does cold influence combat?
Would that be Centagrade or Farenheit below Zero. As this is an international community where people are using both C and F, it would be helpful to clarify. Below 0 C is below 32 F. I spent the night recently in an unheated house when the temperature outside was 29F, I was able to heat the bedroom to just under 60 F with a small room heater. If I had known the F temperature was going to be under Zero, I would NOT have made that trip. So Russians at a little below 32F or 0C would be chilly and uncomfortable. At below 0F they would be facing possible freezing to death, especially if they were as poorly clothed and supplied as we have been hearing.
