My grandfather was born in Norway and all of his ancestors were too. He had olive skin, black hair and dark brown eyes. My dad figured that the Vikings must have brought back some gal from the Mediterranean as a wife.

Until dad visited his unknown relatives in northern Norway. Laplanders! Still raising and herding reindeer.
