Our own Secretary of Defense knew that if congress somehow failed to get
enough help to prevent Russia from finding those bio-labs, it would be far too
easy for Russia to simply show the world whatever they find.

Our side has already been reduced to trying to make excuses over the matter.

Those “scientists” weren’t really our monkeys either, but we were funding them,
anyway. Russia may have a better idea what else those labs were given
besides money than our side can ever dare admit, at this point. (And WE may
not have been the only pathogen supplier, either.)

We don’t seem to be denying that some of those labs have been found, though.
We did not get the help she told us would be needed to prevent this.
We do know that much.

The thing about war is that it always provides plenty of opportunity for war crimes.
War Crimes Sway Global Opinion.

Just one more way our Nation is under attack both from within and without.
Our own corrupted government is trying to make US complicit.

We need to make our disapproval heard.

I disapprove of the exportation of cluster munitions and bio-labs and pathogens
to countries at war with countries that have nukes pointed at US, just for starters...

Yes, the US assisted Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan in destroying stocks of biological and chemical weapons after 1991 and up until 2001/2002 when Putin started to seize power.

This was part of a joint Cooperative Threat Reduction agreement in which the US assisted the former Soviet states in destroying stocks of chemical and biological weapons and this also required the US to assist in establishing updated biological containment laboratories in participating nations. Including Russia.

But once Putin seized dictatorial power he made numerous false claims about the labs the US assisted with in other countries while studiously avoiding any mention of the labs the US had helped to establish for Russia.

The current Kremlin statement to confirm what I posted above:

November 13, 2001
Approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President George W. Bush in Washington on November 13, 2001

At Shanghai, we resolved to enhance cooperation in combating new terrorist threats, including those involving weapons of mass destruction.

We agree that, as a key element of our cooperation to counter the threat of terrorist use of biological materials, officials and experts of the United States and Russia will work together on means for countering the threat of bioterrorism, now faced by all nations, and on related health measures, including preventive ones, treatment and possible consequence management. We will continue to work to enhance the security of materials, facilities, expertise, and technologies that can be exploited by bioterrorists. We also confirm our strong commitment to the 1972 Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction.

We have directed all of our officials and experts working on these critical matters to expand their cooperation and to consult on strengthening related international efforts.

“Since the end of the Cold War, hundreds of millions of United States tax dollars were funneled into Russia to keep scientists at home to work on biological research in cooperation with the West. The program helped deter the scientist from working on bio-terrorism projects for America’s enemies.”
