Cruz didn’t take any kind of stand when Trump was filling stadiums on his behalf.
That is NOT what President Trump said. Only cheap Harvard lawyers would distort the spoken words and make such claims.
Trump accomplished a long list of things his first term. Biden has obviously destroyed a lot of those things.

If you want to watch an interesting podcast that explains a lot of Trump’s legal issues, on YouTube “The Shawn Ryan Show”, he’s a former Navy Seal and CIA contractor, he had on this week Tim Parlatore a former Lawyer for Trump.
Tim Parlatore talks about why he left and why so many Lawyers have quit representing Trump and what the cost of his defense could be.
His contention is the Boris Epshteyn, who introduces himself at Trump’s House Counsel who controls the legal defense strategy of Trump, Epshteyn has never tried a case before a jury in his legal career and has only practiced law about 1.5 to 2 years.

The force of Trump’s personality will likely win him the nomination and might win him the general election again, but it’s going to be one helluva scene if that happens.
