Appeal as legal representation was inadequate. Jurors influenced by media to hate the defendant. All cases involving a certain DA or police witness are re-opened later. DNA evidence challenged later. Police lab had corrupt officers who took money to influence case outcomes so cases are now re-opened. New virus outbreak means prison population has to have mandated early releases to reduce crowding.
