Hello Mr. DiogenesLamp,

It seems to my humble eyes that Mr. VermontLt was being ironic πŸ™‚, since all of these ethnic groups managed to integrate very well, after a few initial problems.

I see him as making a comparison that a current dislike for third world immigrants is similar to opposition to the Irish and other European settlers in the 19th and 20th centuries.

He ignores all the massive differences between the two groups such as religion, general intelligence and capabilities.

Painting them as alike is simply an effort to discredit modern objections to third world troublemakers and parasites being admitted into the country.

It's virtue signaling. It's what the higher class people believe in his neck of the woods. (Northeast.)

It's also a refusal to recognize reality and a reliance on wishful thinking. One only need look at how Minneapolis is going to get an idea of how well this thinking is going to work out.

And if that isn't enough, take a look at Paris and London.

People want to pretend that everyone in the world is exactly like, but this is just "Emperor's new clothes" type nonsense.

Some people do not make America better, they make it like Somalia. Ilhan Omar comes to mind.

I seeπŸ™

Sorry about that, and I am absolutely on your side about the current immigration disaster in both America and Europe. The deleterious effects of these policies can be seen very clearly.

Itβ€˜s the power elites against the people- on both sides of the pond πŸ™
