Isn’t it contemptible that this school thinks quizzing students on subjective opinions, then marking their answers as WRONG, constitutes “thoughtful exploration and dialogue”?

Awful, isn't it? And they have the temerity to hide behind "thoughtful exploration and dialogue." That is EXACTLY what the kid did when he answered the questions and the teacher went after him tooth, claw and dagger.
