I knew they were wrong just by your few words they wrote.

Checking report if that is what they claimed:
Between 9 to 12 thousand years ago. Which was clearly printed in Abstract, body and conclusion. IE: Younger Dryas
Sea level rise drowned a vast habitable area of north-western Australia driving long-term cultural change (PDF)

The passed down stories of Mu is there where a number of large populated areas mostly Caucasians of up to 60 million people. Which is likely a larger area then what they're showing and early farming.

The estimated numbers that area could carry is based on hunter gatherers. Not farmers. It could've been vastly more then their estimations.
