Yes, as I recall the Iraqi Army was believed (by some) to be a formidable force; but, they collapsed immediately when, in the first 15 minutes of Desert Storm their communications and control were demolished, and their "Command" was on the run.
However, since this is the Q thread, I want to return to Luttwak for a moment.
Luttwak was very connected to U.S. strategic thinking, and he was an expert in Game Theory, which he claimed was the basis or the grand strategy I described previously, of setting up the U.S./Brit front lines to briefly delay the hypothetical invasion of 50K (iirc) Soviet tanks...but then to LOSE.
It was believed that if they were strong enough to last a few weeks or more, then European Parliaments would have time to get involved and SURRENDER, rather than face the near-certainty of tactical nukes on their soil (an exchange of which would necessarily be initiated by the U.S., being unwilling to match the massive Soviet land forces facing across the Cold War divide, with direct lines of resupply etc.).
His book, Strategy, was my initial introduction to Game Theory, and I tried in vain to use it to interpret Q's numerous references to "Game Theory."
But that was 2020.
Now, on the cusp of 2024, I think I understand Q's repeated "Game Theory" comments as meaning: If the opposition were willing to fire off everything they had (Covid, stolen election, lawfare, censorship) then our first lines of defense would need to collapse, that being the only way White Hats would be able to fire the weapons actually needed to defeat the enemy, before MAGA World could be cajoled into a permanently bad position from which it would be much more difficult to escape.
So, if this interpretation is correct, the question is: What are the equivalent of tactical nukes that our side is getting ready to set off?
I can think of two:
(1) The release of the Epstein List, along with dribbles of info pertaining to the depravity of the crimes committed there. It must be horrendous, considering "they" are willing to spark WW-III, and another Civil War, and unfettered invasion of the US mainland, and completely destroy Western Civilization and all its peoples, just to keep their Satanic behavior from justice.
and
(2) Military/NG oversight of our elections (similar to Reconstruction and the Civil Rights eras), to stop the steal. This ruling by Colo Supreme Court, and expected response by SCOTUS, sets up this possibility nicely.
