SCOTUS doesn’t need to make a ruling. It says, “If review is sought in the Supreme Court before the stay expires, it shall remain in place”

It’s been accepted by SCOTUS already.

So all that’s needed is for the USSC to accept a review and not make a ruling?

When did the USSC accept a review of what the Colo Court ruled?

And would Colorado lose its electoral votes?

Point brought up in the thread BTT

SCOTUS did get the filing of the appeal as even wikipedia says the stay is in effect until jan 4. Trump will be on the ballot. The way I read it the filing stayed the case.

Though this filing just before the case. CO Supreme court can bring the case back up before the election even know Trumps name is on the Ballot. IF SCOTUS doesn't rule on the case. Again that isn't how the judgment reads though.
