If you had a choice right now between:
1) Guaranteed Republican majorities in the House AND Senate, AND Nikki Haley as POTUS
OR
2) An election as you know it will be, full of fraud and corruption, but a chance for Donald Trump to be President, but the House and Senate up for grabs
Which would you choose?
The woman who goes by a phoney name she would not let us use on social media will never get a vote from me, nor would any party that nominated her get a dollar from me.
I’ll take door 2.
Anyone picking 1 doesn't get the fact that biggest problems facing this country are a result of unanimity between the two parties -- massive debt, illegal immigration and the use of our foreign policy to enrich our elite.
Nikki Haley is as bad as Mitt Romney. She would be a total disaster. She'd break promise after promise to the base.
We're not going back to being the party of Bush. Period.
It's Trump or communism in 2024.

In “Let’s Make a Deal”, the winner goes home with his goodies, pays taxes, and that’s the end of it.
If we succumb to the temptation of the electable RINO, if actually elected (NOT a slam dunk) she will only perform the promises we DON’T like (just like W’s “No Child Left Behind”) and we get Internet restrictions, more wars, and no true reform.
Once again, our bluff will be called, and we will have nobody but Romneys and McCains thrown at us in the future.
These rear-ends have already started to say they will vote for BIDEN over Trump. They have NO claim to our loyalty. I’d rather lose than have the chance of fixing things for real in the future obliterated (in a worldly sense). That’s why I would not vote for Romney in 2012. No regrets. If we got Romney, we wouldn’t have had Trump to peel off the scab and show the gangrene underneath.
realignments sometimes take several cycles. By the time this realignment is done, we must be rid of the Haleys, just as we are done with the Flakes, Romneys (soon), Cheneys, and Kinzingers.
Haley in charge of anything is like giving Newsome the job. She will sell out at the first opportunity.

I have to differ with you on one point. Mr. Trump’s term saw far better economic conditions than we have now; that’s absolutely true. But he never cared about the deficits or debt. His entire business career involved the manipulation of debt. I’m not implying anything crooked here, but I think we’d be deluding ourselves if we think he’ll do anything about the debt. Besides, it’s Congress which appropriates the money (supposedly). They haven’t shown the slightest inclination to materially reduce the debt in my adult lifetime (I’m 69). It hasn’t much mattered who’s in the majority.
All that aside, though. Trump’s economy, foreign policy, etc. would be a welcome relief from either the RINOS or the RATS. Several people have asked me (incredulously) how I can support Trump. I reply: look at the overall state of the country 2016-20 (absent COVID) and compare it to now. He accomplished that despite heroic (sarcasm) efforts to subvert his government. Look at who is doing what to try to prevent his reelection. If all those bad actors are this desperate, THAT’S THE GUY I WANT! I don’t even personally like the man, but he’s not asking to marry my sister or babysit my kids. He was cheated in 2020, and I want to see him vindicated.
#2 All day every day. There is no other choice if we want to save our Country, IMO.

I wish/ hope you are correct, i just do not see anything, i mean anything, getting done in that scenario.
in a perfect world Trump will win, and the “bad guys” won’t get in his way for 4 years. But they will get in the way.

Several million people have gotten into the USA since 1/20/21. They’re not here to pick grapes.
IOW...we do not have a choice.
I replied that such rapidly rising public debt threatened the nation, and that "we owe it to ourselves" was what Obama said. He wasn't amused. And oddly had no cogent response.

To win the election, you may be right.
But Trump better wear his Kevlar Union suit, a gas mask, and have some trusted food tasters with him 24/7.

Mike Johnson is NOT a conservative. He’s a moderate. People keep saying that he’s a conservative but his voting record proves otherwise.
