Scientists have drawn a link between the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and a “spike” in cases of a rare disease that can leave its victims paralysed.
Three separate studies reported an increase in Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) shortly after the roll out of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
GBS is a potentially deadly condition in which a person’s immune system attacks their nerves and gradually paralyses victims from the feet upwards. While most patients recover, it can be life-threatening or permanently debilitating.
Two of the studies looked at rates of GBS in England and said there was an increase in cases “attributable to” the AstraZeneca vaccine, or that there was a probable “causal link”.
The Telegraph has spoken to several people who developed GBS after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine, and have become severely disabled as a result.
Two of the individuals have been awarded payments through the Government’s Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme but the third has been refused compensation on the basis that he is not “60 percent disabled” – the threshold for a pay-out.
On Friday, one of the victims spoke of his “anger” that he had the AstraZeneca jab without knowing that it posed such a risk.
‘Side effects ignored’
Anthony Shingler said: “It feels like the side effects were either missed or ignored.”
In one of the studies, researchers studied NHS data and found that the rate of GBS was lower than usual for most of the pandemic – but that it shot up to well above normal levels in March and April 2021 – after the AstraZeneca vaccine roll-out had got under way.
More than a quarter of people who developed GBS in England in the first 10 months of 2021 did so within six weeks of having the AstraZeneca vaccine, according to the paper by scientists at University College London

They will immediately remove th3 med without further investigation to see if it really is the drug causing gbs, but with the covid vxccine, and kids dying of,heart conditions, and others getting serious health issues after the vaccines, thry went out of,their way to declare that it wasn’t the vaccines causing the problems

Most of those adverse events were GBS related.

None of my healthcare professionals have ever talked to me about the risk of adverse events with any vaccine. Never. I would ask and be told not to worry about it. Even after I experienced what may have been a vaxx-related adverse event. The info on the event is on my electronic medical record, but no HCP wanted to follow up to find out why what happened occurred.
My solution: No more vaxxes. Period.

I was one of the injured ones.
My injuries were basically on my right cheek/lower peri- orbital area.
I still have issues decades later, when I’m very tired or coming down with a cold or mild flu.
As the layers of this whole hoax are peeled away, one finds contracts with "shut up" clauses and so much more, media complicit with stirring up hysteria as a marketing tactic, and politicians complicit in the whole mess, such that now in New Zealand, as only one example, "public data" is being deemed private and privileged even when anonymized. I was around then, too, and my bet is that those numbers were way underreported.
Exposure to a virus causes GBS. Not a particular virus, you can get GBS if you catch the flu, or get a vaccine shot, shingles vaccine, covid vaccine, swine flu shot, whatever. GBS is an immune reaction, your system attacks the nerves, shorts them out basically. They used to call GBS ‘French Polio’, but most GBS victims recover to a large extent.
I had GBS in 1973 after an upper respiratory infection. Didn’t have a heavy cold or the flu, but I had a dry cough and a fever and then came down with GBS about 10 days later. I hadn’t had any type of vaccine shot since the late 50s, so that wasn’t the issue.
Eric Clapton couldn’t feel his hands (and thus obviously couldn’t play guitar) for weeks after receiving the A-Z poison. Fortunately it passed. Countless others weren’t so lucky.
My PCP went absolutely nuts when I told him I wasn’t taking the vax. I was surprised at the intensity of his reaction. He knew I never take the flu shot. Well he *would* know if he looked at the records but I don’t think he does.
The AstraZeneca vaccine was never approved for use by the FDA and was never used in the US.
It’s not an mRNA based vaccine, it uses a viral vector platform like the J&J vaccine.
Keep that in mind when reading the usual barrage of conspiracy screeching.
If you remember back, the very remote and probably bogus claim that at risk children may get Kawasaki's Disease as side effect of HCQ was used to slander one of the most effective therapeutic treatments for covid.
Kawasaki's became a media fire storm of HCQ slander.
Turns out the mRNA jabs are very active at initiating Kawasaki's disease - not just in children but adults as well.

My wife is a great RN. She knows when my GBS is starting to
impact me.
Besides getting me to rest, placing a cold rag on the area and getting me to relax seems to work.
A good friend is also a good doctor, and he tells me/us the return of the GBS is God’s way of telling me relax.
