The government heavily funded the creation and advancement of the internet…. Maybe they should lay claim to it?

Gov did for a while, but then released it to the public. To make that analogy fit, FedGov should take over the drugs and release them to the public (generics). Then prices would come down anyway since they couldn't gouge on prices anymore.

They never owned it…. They funded its development, like countless other projects. They never had a claim to it. Did you like it in 2020 when the federal govt censored truth on the internet bc they had willing accomplices in the industry. Its not that hard to admit the govt should not have this kind of power even if youve butt hurt by big pharma.
