Right, there is a lot of negative information out there about Russia's economy and demographics, but how much of that is actually critical to Russia's war efforts is unknown.
If Russia is spending 50% of its budget, or 15% of GDP, that is huge, but still a very far cry from Second World War numbers which for Russia were circa 80% of GDP.
So it's impossible for me to say today how much they might adapt and adjust their economy to keep their war efforts going.

I think anyone reading these threads can decide for themselves who are the real clowns, presenting clown-arguments, and who have something more serious to say.

Yeah, maybe... but none of them will confess to it, they all claim to be just old-style American conservatives, meaning, if not out-right isolationists, at least in support of doing what Pres. John Quincy Adams famously described as

“America goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy"

One problem with the authenticity of their pose is that they are all way too passionate in opposition to, not just Ukraine, but also American conservatives trying to support Ukraine.
Look at their gross ad hominems, their vile insults and personal assaults, their mocking memes.
Are these the behaviors of genuine American conservatives, trying to weigh in the balance whether or how much the US should extend our support for European countries beyond NATO?
Or do they sound more like paid propagandists, working for an enemy who wishes, not only Ukraine no good, but also evil on the United States as well?

To me the answers seem obvious, but others will have to judge for themselves.

Time will tell, but wars have led to several regime changes in Russia.

Curious if the can kicking will come home after putins “tough” reelection bid. The fact that there seems to be some efforts made prior to an “election” without question intrigues me
