He was so smart but went to Radford as an undergrad in the mid to late 70s? Something doesn’t add up with this guy.

Radford was known as a party school and a 3rd choice school. It was also popular among students who were smart but didn’t make good grades.

Wasn’t Radford in the 70s and all female college? It was a polytechnical college for women, that was the female version of Virginia Tech at the time.

The outdoor stadium at Radford bears the name Patrick D. Cupp Memorial Stadium... sometimes referred to as home of the D. Cupp.
