In the past, the Man of the Year , which she evolved into the person of the year, was the person who had the biggest impact on the news and world events in that year.

It’s hard to believe Taylor Swift had the biggest impact on world events during the year.

Because she had a major impact on popular culture, that makes her the biggest newsmaker of the year?

I can recall when the Beatles had a huge impact on popular culture in America and around the world.

The Beatles helped redefine popular music and popular culture.

But back in those days The Beatles would never have been considered for the Time Magazine Man of a year award.

I think the criteria for this man of the year person of the year award have clearly changed.
