Except that "pop culture" has become so dispersed as to neither be "popular" nor "culture".

It all depends on perspective. I am clearly not in her demographic.

But I would take Taylor Swifts’ impact over Kanye’s or the Kardashian’s any day of the week.

Her impact on that business is indisputable.
