Yeah I get mistaken for Michael Jordan all the time.
Since I was a kid, I’ve noticed that blacks have a tendency to think that expensive cars are the pinnacle of attainment. I grew up in a fairly rich neighborhood, but it would be the poor blacks who I would see driving flashy, expensive cars. Seemed ludicrous to me.
Part of black dysfunctional culture I guess.
Though you may not drive a great big Cadillac
Gangsta whitewalls
TV antennas in the back
You may not have a car at all
But remember brothers and sisters
You can still stand tall
Diamond in the back, sunroof top
Diggin the scene
With a gangsta lean, wooh-ooh-ooh
Diamond in the back, sunroof top
Diggin the scene
With a gangsta lean, wooh-ooh-ooh
Diamond in the back, sunroof top
Diggin’ the scene
With a gangsta lean, wooh-ooh-ooh
Diamond in the back, sunroof top...
Michael B. Jordan is a very successful, well paid actor. At his income level, driving a Ferrari is like a middle-class yahoo like me driving a Chevy.
What the hell does his skin color have to with anything in this story?!?
Nice way to generalize there. There are also white dysfunctional families. Dysfunction is not native to one race.
I know a couple that got a windfall through inheritance. It all came from a lawsuit. Anyway, great couple but the first thing he did was buy a brand new Corvette. 3 kids and he buys a Corcette. 😂
