Except most baby boomers didn’t raise their children. They threw them into daycare and forgot their children existed, except for a couple of hours in the evening.
Lifelong skills that should have been passed down wasn’t and now these grown children are having to learn about parenting when nobody taught them.
Um, I stayed home and raised my 3 boys and then went to work. I knew many just like myself who did the same.
Working parents didn’t start with the Boomer generation.

Ummmm NO - We made the decision to have one income raising 3 now successful as well-adjusted as they can be kids- Worth it-
My bride was fortunate enough to work at HS where they went to -Our basement was kind of the meeting place for their friends- Not a 70s show Red Forman basement though.
PS blanket statements without quantification are marginally credible.
I disagree
Boomers have a much higher incidence of stay at home moms than xers or z or y
How do I know cause I’m smack dab middle boomer with a peer group 75-80% stay home mom
My wife is an early xer and stayed home 22 years with kids but works now with youngest of ours now 17
She loves retail and merchandising but also liked being home too
If you can afford it but with home prices what they are it’s more difficult for younger parents even without the substantial brainwashing taken into account
My parents who were between greatest and boomers were likely 90% stay home moms
Thanks for painting boomer parents with a broad brush. Stay at home mom of 3 here, that are all wonderful contributing adults. We had just one income. Sacrificed a lot, and people like you tarnish all that just to try to make a point on an internet forum. Disgusting.
