I get the idea of using proxies to fight our wars. Iran uses proxies to great effect. Russia did so in Vietnam. It drains your enemy and the fight is “over there.”
Now, whether a given proxy war is wise is a different story.
As far as true, I use the example of Florida GOP chair Christian Ziegler who was just accused of rape. Christian Ziegler sent the statement to state Republicans on Saturday, saying that he and his wife, Bridget Ziegler, are being targeted because they are “such loud political voices.” His wife cofounded the conservative group Moms for Liberty.
Given democrats’ long history of false criminal accusations (of rape, in particular) he’s probably correct.
But this tidbit came out, not replace to the rape, but to show he’s a scum bag and his wife is a fake: Ziegler admitted having told detectives that he did have sex with the woman but that it was consensual. Indeed, he and his wife and the woman had group sex at least once, more than a year ago.
Again, she’s the chair of “moms for liberty,” a supposed social conservative group.
They’re all just scum.
Ok, but what does this have to do with MTG?
“I get the idea of using proxies to fight our wars.”
Our wars?
Why is Ukraine our war?
Wait what? I voted for both Zieglers the wife for school board and husband prior to the RNC Chairman. Group sex? I must have missed this story and I live in Sarasota.
