“In September 1821, when independence was finally declared from Spain, Agustín de Iturbide was officially declared the first emperor of Mexico and from that moment forward the country was officially known as Mexico, or the Mexican Empire.”

Texas declared its independence in 1836.

Why did folks flee to the North?
To get away from the Aztecs.
The prominent Culture was based on Human sacrifice.

The Spaniards came over, looked around, and put an end to the “prominent culture”

I missed the part that explained where the “Protos” came from. Did they magically appear?

How did indigenous Mexicans get from the Siberian land bridge to Mexico without passing through California?

The coprolite evidence conclusively proves that they got as far north as San Jose…

Who knew the Mexicans drove the Eskimo’s off their land.

Guess the fossils of humans that crossed the land bridge 25,000 year ago don’t count.

In re:

1. “Nakatsuka and his colleagues studied ancient DNA extracted from the teeth and bones of 79 ancient people found at archaeological sites in central and southern California. These remains were dated to between 7,400 and 200 years ago.”

and
2. “They also extracted ancient DNA from the remains of 40 people from sites in the northwest and central north of Mexico, which were dated to between 2,900 and 500 years ago.”

Indicating some DNA markers left in Mexico from 2,900 to 500 years ago, were similar to much older DNA markers left as much as 7,400 years ago in California, which would indicate the migration pattern was INTO Mexico, not out of Mexico - as the oldest of the similar DNA markers were not found in Mexico, but instead in California. Even considering the initial “5,200” years ago claim about the “migrations” the only evidence that old was found in California, not Mexico.
