SEC deserves to be left out this year.

7-9 versus other P5 teams.

FSU beat LSU and Florida from the SEC

Texas went to Tuscaloosa and beat ‘Bama by 10.

SEC playing only 8 conference games when everybody else plays 9 should weigh into the equation. By rights 1/2 their teams should have another conference loss.

UGA best win this year was mediocre Missouri.

Every year should be weighed on its own merits. TCU was in the championship game last year. This year they are not going to a bowl game.

As an SEC homer, I agree. It wasn’t as good as year. When Missouri wins 10 games, you know the SEC had a down year.

I checked out the SEC standings: outside of GA and Bama, there were no elite teams in the SEC. Bama beat GA, and Bama lost to Texas (at home) by 10. Texas moves ahead, Bama and GA are out.

Bama played the #5 strength of schedule. FSU, #58.

If they tried to schedule someone like Alabama instead of North Alabama, I would listen more.

FSU could have joined the SEC years ago. They chose the non-football ACC because they thought it would be an easier road to championships. It finally paid off.

UGA would have beaten FSU by 3+ TDs yesterday.
