Good information. When I declined dental x-rays (I have no tooth problems), my dentist refused my cleaning, telling me I was no patient of hers if I didn’t get regular x-rays. I agreed, and got a new dentist.
Good move declining the quick draw xray gunner dentist. The worst part is they can’t tell you how much juice their antique machine might be shooting you with. I settled this decades ago by telling my old dentist I had been a radiation worker, had lifetime exposure records, and wanted to minimize new exposure. That note is still in my file and I’ve outlived that guy and two more dentists. They don’t bother me about xrays.
