Who can afford a $3200 mortgage? Kids don't stand a chance at owning a home. Imagine shopping around Tampa where the median home price is $400000, and your broker said with your $40,000 down payment your mortgage will be $3159.

If interest rates continue at current or higher levels for some time, that graph suggests to me that real estate values in many areas will suffer the 1/3 haircut that they did in Arizona in the 2008 recession.

No doubt, with its infinite resources, Black Rock will continue buying through the downturn.

thanx for that.

It’s approx.:
6.7 % is 2895
5.7 % is 2664
4.7 % is 2442

all still a load...specially in today’s economic environment, if reports are believable.
