First Republican Candidate In Over 35 Years Files To Run For Monroe County Supervisor Of Elections

Ron Saunders has been clamoring for the Republican vote and attending any event he can gain access to including but not limited to the Republican Executive Committee Christmas Party the day after Ms. Hodies filed to run. His inadvertent request has been denied by their Chairwoman Rhonda Lopez. Mr. Saunders has even attended a recent funeral for an REC member and campaigned with attendees, the attempt was not received well. This comes on the heels of Monroe County Sheriff Rick Ramsey providing his endorsement along with a County Commissioner, we have not seen any other endorsements as of yet.
