I’ve a strong inclination to believe at the least that this has gutted military aviation, particularly in the physically strenuous high performance aircraft. I expect that a good chunk of commercial pilots that refused the inoculation are going to be getting calls to come do 4-8 year stints until we can get a handle on how many people we can come up with that are not GMO and have a brain and are athletic.

One thing we’ve always held advantage wise up to this event is that we, particularly in WWII, have taken our top aviation guns and rotated them into training new crops of aviators while in the WW the Germans and Japanese utilized the vast majority of theirs until they were crippled or killed. While this resulted in ridiculously high kill numbers for some of their aces by wars end almost all of their highly proficient pilots were dead and they had guys climbing into the sky in performance machines with 10 or 20 hours of “sawhorse and plywood” stick time under their belt.

I fear that we could be on the cusp of facing that kind of situation. One big positive for us though is that currently there is no capability of any opposing force placing significant numbers of land based aircraft close enough to put that kind of sortie tempo on CONUS. That could change on a dime though with hostile acquisition of runways in Cuba, Central American, Mexico or British Columbia.

Lemmee juice your “strong inclination” up a little closer to full dress panicability. We’re seeing just the start of the damage the clotshots are going to do to air readiness. We have at least six years to go in the cycle of damage the graphene in the clotshots is going to do.

Notably, it’s the more active, more stressed people who get effected first. This is more than clear from the damage done to Euro soccer players. Well over a thousand of those are dead.

And you’re quite right remembering how our military rotates high performers to training duty. Audie Murphy refused to go. And then I remember Robin Olds, Veetnam Airdale with a penchant for hunting down flying gooks. He refused to claim his fifth kill because he knew they’d pull him back. Frequently left his wingman behind a bit and then claimed his sidewinders were missing. He didn’t want to go to training duty.

The only offsetting factor I see about total readiness is that the furriners also required the clotshots. We’ll need lots of homes for ruptured duck pilots.
