thanks - I knew nothing of this.. I've participated with FR for nearly 25 years - a lurker for a few years before I opened an account. I and many others cut my teach on the WhiteWater Clinton Scandal, which spilled over into other matters, murder of Vince Foster and Rob Brown and Mary Mahony amongst others. I focused much of my attention on Inslaw's ProMIS software and the NSA which was a first cousin to the Vince Foster story. J. Orlin Grabbe tied everything together steeped in the early years of cryptocurrency, surveillance abuse, foreign interference, Oklahoma City, Whakenhut, drug running out of Mena, Iran-Contra the Terry Reed story (also a must), Arkansas ... etc. If Grabbe was still alive, I'm convinced he would be an anon and we would collectively hang onto every word he uttered. He was that good and his work was that relevant to today's happenings.

Archive for J. Orlin Grabbe Another author who published material about these topics during the late 1990s was James Keith whose book, The Octopus was a tribute to the work of Danny Casalaro. Both were likely murdered for getting too close. James Keith had a minor accident when he stumbled off a step and broke his ankle. This was during a beach cookout he hosted for friends. He did not survive the surgery to repair his ankle. Casalaro was a free-lance journalist and much of his work was published by the Mercury News Report. He was found dead in a bathtub of the hotel he stayed at in Martinsburg, West Virginia (A favorite site for conspiracies in TV show X-Files). He was found with 10-12 cuts on his wrists and his briefcase holding all his research was nowhere to be found though family members stated his rightful paranoia drove him to never let his briefcase out of his sight. The investigation ruled his death as a suicide and his body was cremated without consent from family members and before they arrived from California. He was in Martinsburg because he was scheduled to meet with a staff member from Senator Byrd's office. He was thought to be seeking information to support his research for what he called The Octopus and the person he planned to meet was a whistle-blower (speculation on the part of others).
