If memory serves me correctly, don't we see some variation on the Innerwebz of "military told to be ready to deploy", "Troops going out any day now", "Natl. Guard being deployed", "Stock up on food/water/ammo/etc." every other week or so? None of those shrieking alerts has ever come to pass. I'm with you in having some skepticism about this one.

There is a little known, and less understood, mental affliction, which I will call transfixion. It is to the mind what setting is to concrete. When freshly mixed with water, concrete is malleable.
