Trump is his own worst enemy. Every time he insults a person‘s physical characteristic such as being short, he loses a whole cohort of voters who also feel insulted who were wavering about voting for him.

Really? People have had almost no opportunity to see or hear Trump for over three years, other than to see bad pictures of him in news stories about the various bogus prosecutions against him.
And when they get an opportunity to see him, they turn out in the thousands, every single time.
