They got a couple in our rural area. In our town it was a Dodge/Chrysler/Ford dealer whittled down to just the Ford side, and just this week what was left, the Ford dealer, closed for good.
If most people can’t afford a new ICE vehicle, how much less can they afford an EV? Many people on fixed incomes can’t afford even a good used vehicle. Not only that, but thanks to government policies in the past, there’s little hope of even finding an affordable good used vehicle. Most car dealers will probably admit that market took a large step to going away whey introduced the ‘cash for clunkers” program some years ago. Buying a later model used car now is a chancy situation. First, there is the rather high price, then there are many undesirable features on lots of them, some of which may be inoperable. You have to be extra careful if you are even considering some of these “trouble buckets”.

It’s amazing that Biden’s advisors didn’t see that before demanding the regulations” ......Biden & his advisors apparently missed very many things in trying (if they really were) to run this nation. Why would they be expected to know anything about the car market? Why would they try to advise on things they know little or nothing about?
They will be in Sales Purgatory for quite some time...............
