Thanks PapaBear3625. Odd how the mystery continues no matter how many times it gets solved, eh? Geopolymerization / Jean-Pierre Houdin ping.
All kinds of theories for how the Great Pyramid in particular was built, and then all the theories for what its purpose was. *Was*. There's the problem right there.
That's because the Great Pyramid of "Kufu" is an ingenuity generator to the present day, the ancient device that keeps on keeping on. Can't miss it.
From the linked text at the beginning of the thread's source article, the "ancient branch of the Nile" had been dubbed the Khufu branch in the info that was being published in September of last year.
So many ideas, generated to this very day.
Ancient On (as opposed to Off) was known as Heliopolis, "Sun City".
A/the chief deity of Egypt was Ra, the Sun god.
And in the language of the place named for being the origin of the Sun (the Sun that looks like Mars 🔴, for some odd reason),
"kufu" is Ingenuity:
(cf. "Kung-fu")工夫
Kufū - ingenuity, device, worker
クフ
Kufu - Khufu
"Take a picture. It'll last longer."
>>>Over 4,000 years ago, however, a now-defunct arm of the Nile known as the Khufu branch could be found carving just past the site of the Giza pyramid complex. It’s long been suspected that the Khufu branch was a vital vein of ancient Egpyt (sic), aiding its workers to transport materials to the pyramids from elsewhere. However, its history has remained little understood. <<<
