No, it’s my understanding no earth bound telescope has a high enough resolution to discern details that fine.
The lunar orbit reconnaissance satellites have mapped out all the Apollo landing sites, however. The images show exactly what we’d expect. The lower half of the LEM, rovers, footprints & trails, ALSEP gear, etc.
I can’t figure out how anybody can look at 16mm color film of the far side, fron side, and the rest of it and think they would try to fake that. Not possible.
Even better - imagine getting 20 or 30 air force and navy combat veterans, experimental test pilots with engineering degrees, to go along with any sort of hoax. No way Jose. That isn’t how this works. That isn’t how any if this works.

Yes. Fake moon landing pics do not necessarily require a fake mission and landing. There was a great propaganda contest between East and West. The pics lent credibility and a human-interest element that greatly enhanced the propaganda value of the entire effort, even if the photographs were only simulations.
