We love vinyl. Everything about it is superior, as you mentioned. Every squeak, every sound, every sigh, every possible breath.
One of the greatest gifts our youngest son gave us, was his day after Christmas recording in the studio, where we got to watch him and his band mates record a few songs for one of their albums, their only one released on vinyl. It was a lifelong wish for my husband, and I was the happy tag-along. Truly fun to watch as it was recorded and getting to listen to the end product. Very cool. Way cool. It was still very cleaned up compared to the old days, and yet, very awesome!
