Doesn’t Islam consider itself a state religious government? And if so, how can anyone who adheres to Islam and the teachings of Mohammed be loyal to or follow support another type of government? Unless of course, it’s to overtake and overthrow other forms of government and replace with Islam?

Also why is it considered insulting to call those who follow the believes of Mohammed, Mohammedans? It seems strange to call them something that doesn’t seem to indicate the origin of the beliefs? Just curious.
