You are making me think when I “got it”.
I was in a meeting in 2006 with a “big shot” government person (Republican) who shall remain nameless.
He started ranting (off topic—no prompt on my part) about those “crazy conspiracy theorists”. I did not comment—it was not the purpose of our meeting.
Then I went home and researched the topic of the rant—and became convinced that the “crazy conspiracy theorists” were the ones who were correct on that particular issue.
I felt like Alice chasing down the rabbit hole after that.
