One of the things that’s apparently possible is getting the ABS (anti lock brake system) to apply force to single wheel. That would immediately, if a front, veer the vehicle to the right or left.

Personally, we’re stocking with our’06, ‘08 and ‘11 vehicles. Already put engine in my ‘06 truck and fixing to in my ‘11 Silverado but I want to get over the 500,000 mark on that one. I’m about 7000 away at this point.

Our two vehicles, one not really roadworthy, are 25 years old. Oh well...

I have a 2013 Chrysler 300. It’s AWD with ABS. One day when I was bringing my son home from college it got tested like never before.

I was going down a state road and the car in front of me was taking a right. There was a car there that was going to take a left onto the road I was on. I assumed he was going to wait. He didn’t, as I was passing the car taking the right hand turn he pulled out. I slammed on my brakes and held the pedal down for the ABS to kick in. It did and we stopped in time. I was astounded.
