No convincing necessary. One day I will cross the border and never return. I remain here doing what I need to do to make sure I’m completely self-sufficient when I do make the move.
For now, I have to stay at least as long as it takes me to find my 15 month old doggie. She must have been very stressed at my delay (she missed her walk) because the second I opened the door, she bolted. She’s never done that before and usually likes to wait at least until her bladder dribbles on my feet before she goes to the door. I looked for her for a long time but it’s very dark and I wasn’t able to find her. I hope that someone took her in until they can bring her to the SPCA tomorrow. I’ll leave the front and back doors open 5” all night. Maybe she’ll find her way back home. I’d really like to start this day over.
