I agree with that principle, always. I think it’s also important to remember that we’re all different. What ‘works’ for one may not for another. For example, my major food group is raw salads, but I’ve lost count of how many people who’ve told me “I could NEVER do that, it would give me diarrhea!” But it doesn’t do that to me. (I *am* as regular as clockwork, though.)

Oh my. Truer words were never spoken. I love vegetables and fruits, but if I don’t have a significant amount of meat protein every day, my body just doesn’t work or feel right, and I get muscle pain. Protein drinks help but they contain other things that I don’t want to consume (sucralose, etc.). At the same time, I know people who could never eat the amount of meat that I eat and feel good. For them, more than a small portion binds them up.
